THE COMPANY I WORKED FOR AT THE TIME WAS COMMISSIONED TO REVAMP THE OLD BIG HOLE MUSUEM IN KIMBERLY-SOUTH AFRICA, I WAS ASKED TO ILLUSTRATE A SERIES OF STORIES THAT WOULD BE TRANSFERRED TO METAL PANELS KNOW AS THE PRE-SHOW DISPLAY, I HAD FULL CREATIVE CONTROL ON THIS PROJECT AND CHOSE TO ILLUSTRATE THE 12 INDIVIDUAL STORIES USING AN ANCIENT STYLE KNOWN AS SCRATCH BOARDING, I FELT THAT THIS STYLE WOULD BE AN APPROPRIATE PAIRING TO THE TIMES AND PLACES DEPICTED IN THE STORIES WHEN THE MUSEUM LAUNCHED AND I SAW THE FULL SCALE ILLUSTRATIONS FOR THE FIRST TIME WAS AN INCREDIBLY PROUD MOMENT FOR ME AS A YOUNG DESIGNER, THE WORK STILL STANDS IN THE MUSUEM TODAY, FOR WHOMEVER TO GAZE UPON.
